What We Don't Do

Straight talk on the limits of our service, so you can decide if we're the right fit before you book.

We're proud of what we do — and equally clear about what we don't. This page exists so you know exactly what you're getting (and not getting) before you hire us.

The short version We're negotiation consultants. We give you expertise, strategy, and scripts. You are always the one making offers, signing contracts, and closing deals. We never act as your lawyer, agent, broker, or representative.

We don't provide legal advice

We are not attorneys. Our playbooks, scripts, and strategies are negotiation guidance, not legal counsel. If you have questions about the legal sufficiency of a contract, your rights under a specific law, or whether to sue someone — that's a question for a licensed attorney in your state, not for us.

We don't review your contracts for legal sufficiency

We can help you understand pricing terms, repair credits, financing fees, and similar negotiable items. But we don't review your purchase agreement, lease, or loan documents for legal compliance, missing clauses, or hidden traps — that's a lawyer's job, and you should hire one if the deal warrants it.

We don't act as a real estate agent or broker

We are not licensed real estate agents, brokers, or salespersons. We do not list properties, show properties, complete MLS transactions, hold earnest money, or represent buyers or sellers in any agency capacity. Our real estate consulting helps you negotiate the price and terms of a transaction you're already pursuing — it doesn't replace your agent or your closing attorney.

We don't act as a vehicle dealer or auto broker

We are not licensed auto dealers, brokers, or lease facilitators. We don't hold inventory, complete title transfers, finance purchases, or sell vehicles. Our auto consulting helps you negotiate a better deal on the vehicle you're already buying.

We don't contact dealers, sellers, or other parties on your behalf

We're consultants, not brokers or agents. When you hire us, we give you market research, comparison data, scripts, and strategy — but we don't make the calls, send the emails, or negotiate with third parties on your behalf. You do the contacting and gather the responses. This is by design: it keeps us firmly in the consulting role and ensures your relationship with any seller, dealer, or counterparty is yours alone, not ours.

We don't negotiate on your behalf in person

Even in our Direct Negotiation service, we never attend negotiations in person. Direct Negotiation is a remote facilitated consulting service — we're connected with you live by phone or video while you do the negotiating. You speak, you offer, you accept, you sign.

We don't operate in person, anywhere

We are a fully virtual service. We don't have a physical office for clients to visit, we don't meet clients in person, and we don't attend transactions in person under any circumstances. All consulting, research, communication, and Direct Negotiation sessions happen remotely — by phone, video, email, or text. This is true regardless of where you're located in the U.S.

We don't sign contracts or transfer funds

We never sign anything on your behalf. We never hold, escrow, or transfer your money. Every offer, every acceptance, every signature is yours. This is true in every service tier we offer.

We don't take commissions or kickbacks

Our only compensation is the flat fee you pay us directly. We don't accept commissions, referral fees, finder's fees, or any other payment from dealers, sellers, agents, contractors, or any other party with an interest in your transaction. Our advice is unbiased because our money comes only from you.

We don't guarantee outcomes

We don't promise specific savings, specific prices, or that any deal will close. Negotiation outcomes depend on market conditions, the other party's flexibility, your willingness to walk away, and your execution. We've helped clients save substantial money, but past results don't guarantee future ones. Failure to achieve any specific outcome is not grounds for a refund.

We don't help with illegal or fraudulent transactions

We won't consult on anything that's unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or that violates a third party's rights. This is a firm line. If a deal requires you to misrepresent facts, deceive a lender, defraud a counterparty, or otherwise act unlawfully, we'll decline the engagement — even if you've already paid.

We don't make decisions for you

We give you strategy, scripts, market data, and walk-away criteria. You decide whether to use them, when to walk away, and what deal to accept. We respect your autonomy as the person actually living with the outcome.

What about deals outside our standard service categories?

Beyond our standard published offerings, we evaluate custom engagements on a case-by-case basis. This may include commercial real estate, raw land, investment properties, fleet vehicles, salary and compensation negotiations, and other high-dollar situations where you need negotiation expertise.

Custom engagements are priced individually based on scope and complexity, and we reserve the right to accept or decline any custom request at our discretion. We serve clients in all U.S. states; however, you remain solely responsible for understanding the laws and regulations that apply to your specific transaction in your state. If you're not sure whether your situation fits, the best thing to do is reach out — we'll review the details and let you know.

One more thing. If you've already signed a binding contract, we generally can't help you renegotiate it. The best time to hire us is before you've committed to anything. The second-best time is when you have a quote in hand but no signature yet.

Still think we're a fit?

Great. We'd love to help.
